First I would like to say that the staff is lovely and made the stay “rate” higher than it would have had they been ambivalent or unfriendly — that was not the case.
There are pros and cons to staying at this hotel that travelers should be aware of. First, proximity to the airport and other hotel/conference centers on the Wolf Rd. Corridor is a big plus for people traveling for work that are looking for flexible affordable accommodations. At the same time, proximity to the airport is part of the problem about the location… you hear every single plane take off. The hotel is situated literally next to the edge of the airport property and the edge of the runway. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be an issue.
Also affecting light sleepers are the extremely loud HVAC units and other assorted noise that floats into the room from the hallway. From my room at one far corner of the 4th floor, I could hear someone using the ice machine near the elevators, someone else nearby using their blow dryer, and yet another person watching their television.
