If I could rate 0, I would. I am a frequent traveler to Japan and have stayed at many hotels, including Daiwa. Unfortunately, this experience was by far the worst, and it will be my last time staying with Daiwa.
At check-in, I specifically asked a male staff member at the front desk about the daily parking duration. I was clearly told that daily parking was valid for 24 hours. Based on this information, I decided to pick up our rental car the next day after visiting Himeji Castle instead of driving it to the castle directly in the morning.
However, when I picked up the car at 14:00, I was informed that I had exceeded the daily parking limit and was required to pay an additional fee. I explained that this decision was made based on the information provided by their staff the night before.
What was most disappointing was the response: even though the staff admitted it was their mistake, I was told that as a guest, I still had to bear the cost of their error. In other words, I had to pay anyway.
Я заплатил сбор, но такое отношение к ситуации было неприемлемым. Плохая коммуникация, отсутствие ответственности и никаких усилий для справедливого решения проблемы в интересах гостя.
Я больше не буду останавливаться в отеле Daiwa.
