At Verandah by the Sea, we ensure a comfortable and scenic stay in every season.
From *22nd May 2026 to 1st September 2026,* the first floor will remain curtained for the safety and care of our traditional wooden house during heavy monsoon conditions.
Our home is uniquely constructed using natural materials — the entire structure is made of mud , with wooden flooring, wooden railings, and wooden doors. *Due to this eco-sensitive construction,* direct exposure to heavy rain can weaken the walls. If rainwater continuously hits the walls, it may compromise the structural integrity of the house. Additionally, given our cliffside location, rain and wind often come from all directions during the monsoon.
As per the Meteorological Department forecast, the monsoon is expected to begin in our area from 26th May 2026. Accordingly, all water sports and sea-based activities will remain closed from 26th May onwards for safety reasons.
We are currently accepting bookings during this period. However, on rainy days, the green protective curtains will remain in place, due to which the sea view from the first floor may be restricted. *On clear days, we are happy to open the curtains so guests can enjoy the full sea view.*
Our home is perched on a cliff ledge, well above sea level, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the Arabian Sea stretching from Vengurla to Malvan. Due to this elevated coastal setting, heavy rain and strong winds may occasionally bring moisture indoors on the first floor. Even with protective curtains, a few drops of rain may sometimes enter during intense weather, which may not be comfortable for all guests.
Online bookings for the first floor are currently closed. Whenever we receive such enquiries, *we ensure guests are informed in advance so their expectations match the actual experience. Transparency and honesty are core to how we operate.*
The ground floor remains fully open at all times and offers the same beautiful sea view along with a more sheltered and comfortable environment during the monsoon.
Even during the rains, you can enjoy the charm of the sea breeze and a cozy, peaceful stay with us.

Правила размещения детей: Разрешается проживание детей любого возраста. В этом объекте размещения за детей в возрасте 18 лет и старше будет взиматься оплата как за взрослых гостей. Чтобы увидеть точные цены и информацию о наличии мест, при поиске укажите количество детей в вашей группе и их возраст.
Размещение с домашними животными не допускается.
Курение запрещено.
Нельзя проводить вечеринки/мероприятия.
