7-night stay from October 1st to October 8th, 2025
My husband and I are loyal customers, and when we are well received, we always return.
We have stayed at this resort several times, and each time I return I am pleasantly surprised.
But this time it was extra special because my son and daughter-in-law came with us and experienced Vila Galé Cumbuco for the first time, and they loved it.
Today I begin my review with practically ALL the credit going to Victor, the supervisor.
We were impressed and so happy with the care and attention he gave us back at the resort.
From our arrival, he was very professional, attentive, and caring with the guests, not only with us but with everyone who has the pleasure of interacting with him during their stay.
And I particularly appreciated that.
He makes everything work and happen. In a snap!
Guests, ask to meet him! 👏

Spacious, clean and decorated room.
I like staying on the ground floor because my husband and son practice kitesurfing, and it's perfect for leaving the equipment on the balcony.
Excellent beach for the sport and the wind at this time of year is great, and they sailed every day.
Delicious food (I even think they've improved the options in the main restaurant).
Excellent quality Portuguese wine, especially at the Inevitável restaurant, and the food is delicious and prepared with great care.
At the Inevitável restaurant, the passion fruit tart for dessert is a must-try.
Afternoon tea has a delicious chocolate brownie and a very well-made croissant.
Clean pool with recreation.
On Saturdays during the day they have a new feature at the pool (live band), I thought it was very good and they sing super well.
The nighttime entertainment could have more attractions because other Vila Galé hotels we've frequented are much more… Excited.
The gym is spacious and has good equipment, but I think that a resort-style structure without good exercise bikes (spinning) doesn't match the resort's level of infrastructure, and I saw other guests complaining about the same situation.
(There aren't any bikes) and many times during my stay we called an Uber and went to the gym in Cumbuco.
We are disciplined and enjoy sports; for some, this may not make a difference, but for us, it makes a big difference.
I had already written this in my other review 11 months ago, and nothing has been resolved.
I don't know who is in charge of this logistics, but I hope they resolve it as soon as possible.
Well-maintained and clean landscaping.
Beach lifeguards need to be qualified and trained to help kitesurfers raise and lower their kite equipment, as many guests stay to practice the sport, and my husband, son, and another friend (who was also staying there) did not have this support.
Staff like Taciano from the poolside barbecue make all the difference; he is very helpful. Полезно.
