Вечером, вернувшись с похода, мы остались в холле отеля и хотели пойти на массаж. В то время вызвать такси через Grab было очень сложно. Поэтому я попросил помощи у одного из сотрудников в холле отеля, и мне удалось вызвать такси через Grab. Это было около 18:00. И с очень грубым видом она назвала меня каким-то таксистом прямо передо мной, и у нее было очень неприятное выражение лица. Finally we got a taxi and the driver came to pick us up at 8:30. She informed us that everyone driver is so busy and she had to put “too much” effort to call a taxi. But when I got to the bus station, all the customers were coming with different Taxi companies, I noted only few were grab.
So I wondered and asked some of them how did you get taxi. Three group said the same that their hotel arranged for them too because grab was impossible to get. At that point, I was really disappointed because she could have easily arranged for us instead of blaming us heavily. Since we had to take taxi at 8:30, we arrive at the station at 9:00 and had to wait until 11:30 to take the bus in a really really cold weather. Same people who took my bus arrived around 10:30-11:00.
2. She had a bad attitude too when we asked her to make up room. She doesn’t treat like this to other “white” customers. I feel said that shouldn’t we Asians get the same treatment as well?
3. There are many other beautiful bungalow home stays. You don’t have to choose a home stay with a host like this. I meant only the host, woman with glasses and short hair. Other staff were very helpful and nice.
In summary, my whole Sapa trip with ruined at the end by the host’s treatment to us.
