Ok, so let's get in to it… I'll start with the good things… Price and location. All in, with taxes, it was a hundred bucks. Not bad for the room and pool. It's an old building, and they have been remodeling for over a year. You can see the improvements for sure, the windows, furniture, pool area, etc. It's nice to see the upgrades and the room itself was fine with a decent bed. Parking was ok, and initial check in was fine.
Ok so, the first room they gave us had a bad leak, and it smelled like toilet water… (In all fairness, it could have been lake water). Lake Havasu has a certain "smell" to it also. So we'll just say they have some plumbing issues. Not a big deal, I told the guy, he gave us a new room… Yay great! All is good again… Until… I try the internet, the Internet is so weak that you can't stream and we weren't able to "mirror or cast"… Just couldn't connect.
Again, no big deal, we watch too much TV anyway… Ok… Cool.
Now, next day, we wake up to grab a coffee, around 9am to grab a coffee, upon returning to the room, the card doesn't work, so I gotta walk all the way back to lobby where I just was for coffee to get a new key. He gives me a key, while I'm there, we ask for a late check out, he says 12, I'm like… "Ok Cool, thanks". Go to the room, grab the wife and we leave again to go to breakfast. When we come back, again, now the new key doesn't work…
I go back again, "The key doesn't work… Again". This time he actually walks back to the room and unlocked the door for us.
You would think that would be the end of the interaction and after he unlocked the door, he would leave… Well that's not what happened at all…
Dude unlocks the door and then stands there waiting for us to open the door and he's trying to look inside our room… So I stand in his way, I'm like… "Thanks for opening it" have a nice day".
Thinking he would leave… But nope! He's standing there waiting for us to open the door so he can look inside…
I get in his way again, so he moves and asks again, you're leaving at 12? I said yes, have a nice day… Am he's still standing there waiting to look inside our room.
I finally turned straight towards him, starred him down until he turns and walks away.
WHAT A CREEP!
It's a shame too because besides the Internet and the plumbing issues, that place has potential, but that Чувак… Он нас просто ужасно напугал.
