The perfect safari camp. An amazing combination of price and quality.
Traditionally the best safari camp in Mikumi. Cozy and clean chalets, great pool, friendly staff. The restaurant is very romantic to sit with a glass of wine under the constellation of the Southern Cross in the center of East Africa, feeling like Sir Henry Stanley. This is the second time I've been here on safari, and this time I was lucky to see a lot of lions. Three lions slept in the bushes, and the fourth, after a successful hunt for a wildebeest, ate it a few meters from the jeep. A lot of buffalo and other animals came to the lakes, because the dry season and little water. There was news that they plan to bring rhinos from South Africa to Mikumi. At first they will live in an aviary, then they will be released into the savannah. If these plans are implemented, then in Mikumi you can see all the African five animals, and there will be no need to travel far and expensive to the most famous parks. The organization of the safari is impeccable, from meeting at the port of Dar es Salaam, escort to Mikumi and boarding the return flight after the safari. В ресторане очень романтично сидеть с бокалом вина под созвездием Южный Крест в центре Восточной Африки, ощущая себя сэром Генри Стэнли. На сафари я здесь уже вторично, и на этот раз повезло увидеть много львов. Три льва спали в кустах, а четвертый после удачной охоты на антилопу гну поедал ее в нескольких метрах от джипа. Очень много буйволов и прочих животных приходило к озерам, потому что сухой сезон и мало воды. Появилась новость, что в Микуми планируют завезти из ЮАР носорогов. Сначала они будут жить в вольере, потом выпустят в саванну. Если эти планы будут реализованы, то в Микуми можно будет увидеть всю африканскую пятерку животных, и не будет потребности ездить далеко и дорого в самые известные парки. Организация сафари безупречна, начиная со встречи в порту Дар эс Салама, сопровождение до Микуми и посадку на обратный рейс после сафари. Все договоренности с Габриэлем выполнены пунктуально.
