Our recent stay at Temple Tree Hotel, Shirdi, was disappointing, as several operational and infrastructure-related shortcomings affected our overall experience.
One of the biggest concerns was the lack of communication from the hotel. We were never informed about the complimentary high tea, which meant we completely missed a benefit included with our stay. Attention to detail inside the room was also lacking. Only one hand towel was provided for two guests, and the bathroom design was not particularly comfortable due to the small commode opening.
The hotel's infrastructure also needs improvement. With only two small elevators serving the entire property, long waits were common, especially during peak hours. The breakfast area became extremely crowded, making the dining experience hectic and less enjoyable.
The food quality was generally average and fell short of expectations. However, one item stood out—the jowar roti was excellent, freshly prepared, and among the best we have had.
Another significant issue was the frequent power outages during our stay, which caused considerable inconvenience and detracted from the comfort expected of a hotel in this category.
