My friend Olena and I had vacation at the THALIA DECO CITY & BEACH HOTEL since June 19 to June 25, 2025.
It was a wonderful holiday and we are glad we chose this hotel.
The hotel owners are very friendly people, welcome guests and are always ready to resolve any issues.
The owner of the hotel, Mrs. Gordana, is its heart, she provides comfort, cleanliness, delicious breakfasts and excellent coffee! Besides that, she is a very beautiful woman!
The owner of the hotel, Mr. Themis, is always ready to help guests to make their stay very comfortable at the hotel.
The beautiful girl at the reception, Anthie, offered us the option of early check-in at the hotel, and also recommended the wonderful Petalida restaurant, by the way, the best of all restaurants where we had dinner on the seafront. And Mr. Giannis was always friendly and helped us with our luggage. In general, the atmosphere in the hotel is quiet and family-like.
The hotel interior is in light colors, pleasant, the furniture is comfortable, the mattresses are quite wide and soft. The room has everything you need. And most importantly – it is really clean there!
The hotel is located on the main street. But you can't hear any street noise. The sea is a 5-minute walk across the road. There are a lot of shops and grocery supermarkets nearby, as well as a bus stop. You can travel to Heraklion on your own and visit the historical sites, the bus ticket costs 3.50 euros.
There are various restaurants and bars on the seafront, the prices are about the same, but we liked the Petalida restaurant the most, both in terms of price and quality of service.
It’s impossible to convey all the impressions, the island of Crete has a special atmosphere, I’ve always dreamed of visiting here.
A comfortable stay is very important to me, so our choice is the THALIA DECO CITY & BEACH HOTEL. We recommend this hotel to everyone. This is truly a wonderful hotel. We wish the hotel team health, peace and prosperity. See you next summer!
