The hotel is beautifully situated in the middle of the forest. The road leading there isn't at all problematic – bumpy roads like this are common throughout the national park, and the hotel can't be held responsible for that. It was completely quiet there on New Year's Eve – a really great choice for dog owners wanting to ring in the new year without the noise of fireworks.
The rooms are a bit dated but clean and well-maintained. Overall, you feel comfortable at the hotel. It's worth noting that there's no elevator in the guesthouse – the climb to the second floor can be a bit of a trek if you're staying with pets for several days and have a lot of luggage. Also, the rooms are quite noisy; you can definitely hear your neighbor talking.
The hotel has no cell phone reception, which isn't a big deal. However, the Wi-Fi went down one day during our stay, which was a bit of a problem if you needed to make important calls. That's definitely not possible then, so keep that in mind when planning your trip.
A few minor points – please consider them constructive feedback only: The buffet on New Year's Eve was open until 9 pm; From 7:15 pm onwards, some dishes were sold out and weren't replenished. This was a bit of a shame, as they had asked beforehand who was coming to eat, so adjusting the menu seemed possible.
Also, the staff at reception are either incredibly friendly or noticeably grumpy. A little disconcerting, but you can tell the team is doing what they can.
It's also great that all animals are welcome. Perhaps it would be a good idea to pay a little more attention to visitors who seem to have forgotten their dog etiquette (even a small and very friendly dog shouldn't be sitting on a chair in the dining room, but rather underneath it – and certainly not with its paws on the table). A leash requirement in the restaurant would also help.
В целом, очень рекомендую. Конечно, есть специальные цены на Новый год, но они всё равно абсолютно справедливые: очень разумное соотношение цены и качества. Мы с удовольствием вернёмся, и если нам не хватит еды, мы просто возьмём с собой сэндвич :-)
