A very pleasant stay at the Pleneuf Val André Marine Spa.
Positive aspects:
Excellent location, room with a sea view.
Friendly staff at reception and the bar, very kind chambermaids, and especially the young women who give massages—they are very gentle, kind, and professional.
Cleanliness of the entire establishment and the rooms.
The pool and marine circuit aren't very large, but since the hotel didn't seem very busy, there was always plenty of space, whether at the pool, the marine circuit, the sauna, the hammam, or the relaxation room, where it was easy to go without anyone else, so it was very peaceful.
A very varied breakfast with many different products, both savory and sweet—you're spoiled for choice!
Negative aspects: First, the front of the entrance. Very austere, not to say downright ugly; it looks like an abandoned place! There's a lack of planters or anything else to decorate and make it more welcoming, but frankly, it's quite jarring when you first arrive.
Fortunately, as soon as you step inside, you see the bar area, which is rather cozy and classy.
Regarding the rooms, I agree with several other reviews: the wallpaper is peeling off almost every time you remove it—it's really not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel!
Similarly, the tiny little bottle of Plancoet wine was never replaced during our 4-day stay. The coffee sticks are the same story; in a 3-star hotel, that's acceptable, but in a 4-star, you'd expect a proper capsule machine!
One last negative point: while we were in the pool, a lifeguard asked us to get out because he had a lesson. No problem, but, JOKING AHEAD and in a humorous tone, I replied that no, we couldn't get out. Ответ: «К сожалению, я не могу вас уволить, но что ж… » Помимо отсутствия чувства юмора у этого человека, его ответ был ни уместным, ни дружелюбным.
В остальном, жаловаться не на что.
