Be careful with Mohammed, who sells tours in the lobby! The view from the window and the promenade is beautiful: you can see the Nile and palm trees, there is a pool and a small garden on the property, and it is generally quiet and not too crowded. There are decent cafes on site with different cuisines and activities like billiards, and the breakfast is varied and tasty. However, there are many downsides: dirty tables in the outdoor cafe and questionable sanitation, old furniture, doors, and plumbing in the room, plaster falling from the ceiling, it was cold, the air conditioner is weak, and there were insects. There were no slippers or toiletries, and one socket near the bed did not work. The check-in process at reception was very slow, and in the lobby they push expensive, low-quality tours. Outside it is dirty, with many flies, a lot of noise, and no pedestrian crossing. The Wi-Fi is very slow.
