Unfortunately, our experience at the inn left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, we did not feel welcome. The employee Eduardo, who was apparently on duty, showed a lack of initiative and cordiality. We arrived with several suitcases and, after climbing a rather tiring staircase, he remained seated by the pool watching videos on his cell phone, without even getting up to offer help. He greeted us in a very indifferent manner and gave the impression that we were bothering him, even when we asked for basic things like water or ice. Throughout our stay, we noticed that he was constantly on his cell phone, even during working hours, without interacting with or providing support to the guests.
We stayed in Room 1. The space is a reasonable size, but it is quite dark. The bathroom is small and gave us the impression that the cleaning was not being done with due care. A particularly unpleasant episode occurred during the night when I went to the bathroom and heard noises inside a bag with our toiletries. Upon checking, I found a cockroach inside the bag. The next day, I informed the employee of what had happened and asked for the cleaning to be reinforced, but the response was apathetic.
The breakfast is simple, but good. It includes fruits, breads, cold cuts, and cakes. Occasionally, scrambled eggs made to order by the employee Rosângela are served, who, despite being discreet, was the only one who showed any attention to the guests.
We missed hospitality, friendliness, and preparedness on the part of the staff to deal with tourists. At no time did we perceive the presence of a manager or supervisor to guide the employees or ensure a minimum standard of service. Eduardo, in particular, avoided any contact and didn't even respond to a "good morning. "
