Response to the operator's statement:
Dear Ms. Hirner,
Your statement is not entirely accurate.
I have an invoice from Almdorf Service Hohentauern, room 210, stay from September 15–20, 2025.
This clearly proves that I stayed at Almdorf Hohentauern.
Whether the chalet in question is managed internally by Alps Resorts or by a local operator is not transparent to me as a guest and does not change the fact that my review pertains to a stay at your resort.
I have attached the invoice to this review as proof.
Should you nevertheless believe that this is not an accommodation operated by you, I would appreciate it if you could specify which operator or accommodation you are referring to.

Attention 🚨
The chalet is displayed on Booking. Com at a low price because the mandatory cleaning fee of €110 is not included in the total price. Guests are only surprised by this upon departure. According to Booking. Com, such hidden costs are illegal – the landlord has already been warned. The cleaning fee is a mandatory charge that must be included in the total price – and this is precisely what is being deliberately concealed.
Similarly, we were charged for bed linen sets (€8 per person) without prior notification. This is not what transparency looks like.
* Reception: Unfortunately, there was no personal welcome or orientation (e. G. For the gas fireplace). We had to find the key ourselves. When we called reception, we were initially only asked if we had brought bed linen. When we said no, we were simply told, "That's bad. " Bed linen was then provided to us against our will and subsequently charged at €8 per set – without any prior warning. The chalet description made no mention of the lack of bed linen or the additional costs. This should be clearly stated to avoid misunderstandings!
* Amenities: No bed linen, not a single towel, not even soap in the bathrooms. Absolutely inconvenient for guests, especially since it wasn't mentioned anywhere online.
* Amenities: No bed linen, not a single towel, not even soap in the bathrooms. Absolutely impractical for guests, especially since it wasn't mentioned anywhere online.
* * Cleanliness & Condition: Yellowed bed linens, cobwebs in almost every room. Especially since guests have to make their own beds, the linens urgently need replacing. Some of the provided covers were also damaged. The light in one of the bedrooms was broken – this also needs to be fixed immediately. With a mandatory cleaning fee of €110, one can expect significantly more.
✅ Positive:
* Small but charming chalet.
* Good, very quiet location – close to the slopes.
* The chalet itself is comfortably furnished.
* Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean.
* Washing machine and dryer available.
* Working Wi-Fi.
Вывод:
У шале есть потенциал благодаря его местоположению и уюту, но его достоинства существенно снижаются из-за отсутствия сервиса и непрозрачной ценовой политики.
