I called around noon and they told me they would hold my spot. I told them we would arrive around 8 or 9. When I was about to arrive, I called back and they told me they didn't have room for us. We had been traveling all day and night fell, and we had nowhere to sleep. Luckily, we went to the house in the courtyard where a lady treated us wonderfully. The worst part is that I see the negative reviews and instead of admitting their mistake, they have the nerve to respond rudely to all the bad reviews. What nerve!
PS: Given the response I received, I wanted to clarify that when I contacted them, they told me that a reservation wasn't necessary, nor did I need to pay anything; I just had to call when I was approaching. As soon as my partner contacted them, they told her there was room, and as soon as we told them we had spoken earlier that day, they told us there was no room… I don't think I was rude at any point when I contacted them; I honestly don't know what the problem was. If you're going to respond, at least don't lie and be clear when communicating. Of course, most reviews will be positive, like most accommodations on Google. And if it were so good, it wouldn't only have a 3.9 rating. Just compare it to other places. Besides, simply seeing how you respond to these kinds of reviews makes me realize how much you need to wash your hands of it. I'm sorry my opinion bothered you, but I was really upset about not having a place to stay when I thought we had a place booked. And I should clarify that the only reason I inquired was because it was the cheapest I found, since I didn't want to spend money because I was just passing through. And first of all, the rude one was the unfriendly woman we spoke to on the phone. So, the rude ones who gave us false information are you.
